Lindenmeyer tree 

This is a fractal tree, based on the kind of thinking developed by Aristid Lindenmayer (1925–1989), the theoretical biologist who proposed L-systems in 1968. There is a really good web page about this by Christopher G Jennings - https://cgjennings.ca/articles/l-systems/
